The Foscam IP Camera Viewer is made for (almost) the entire Foscam Family of cameras with this privacy focus in mind. Unlike other apps, OWLR DOES NOT keep personal data on the OWLR servers. This ensures that your cameras are safe as a baby monitor, front and back door monitor, home security and store and small business surveillance - and you. Sign-in to Foscam Cloud below. I get a plug-in error or endless loop when installing plug-ins in Firefox, Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer
Firefox, Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer disabled the NPAPI plugins, which are required for the AmbientCam, AmbientCamHD and AmbientCamHD3 to work. You will need to download and install the Foscam Super-Client Software for MJPEG cameras: https://www.foscam.com/download-center/software-tools.html to be able to use the AmbientCams.
I get a plug-in error or endless loop when installing plug-ins in Safari
Download the latest plugins here: Plugins for Mac Sierra Note: Safari may still ask you to upgrade the plugin after installation of the plug-in. Please ignore the upgrade message on the log-in interface, enter the username and password, and login to the camera.
Even if the web browser plugins were installed successfully when accessing a Foscam security camera, the user may experience the error message “Please re-login after plugin is installed”. The reason for this is that the browser is still blocking the plugin from being executed while attempting to access the camera. It can happen on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari.
This error can also be caused by many reasons including a Pop Up Blocker deliberately blocking the browser from launching the appropriate plug-in. Make sure to disable any Pop Up blockers while accessing the Foscam security cameras. Below we’ve listed a few tips on how to resolve this plugin issue.
Foscam error “please re-login after plugin installed”
Chrome (Windows OS)
Launch the browser and in the address bar type the address chrome://components. On the list, locate pnacl; if the version number indicated is 0.0.0.0 the component has not been updated. Click on Check for Update to update the pnacl component and restart the browser after the update is complete.
Also, keep in mind that some anti-virus programs will block most of the browser’s plugins from being executed. If the problem continues after the pnacl plugin is updated, temporarily disable the ant-virus program and try to login to the camera.
Firefox (Windows)
Launch Firefox and in the address bar type about:addons and press enter. Click Plugins and locate the nplIPCRegDLL and choose the option Always Active. Close Firefox and re-launch the browser. Attempt to login to the camera again.
Note: The latest Firefox releases (version 52 and newer) have blocked certain types of plugins such as the one from Foscam to be executed. In this case, use Internet Explorer instead.

Internet Explorer (Windows)
Launch Internet Explorer and navigate to Tools > Internet Options > Security > Customer Level > ActiveX Controls and Plugins.
- Enable Download unsigned ActiveX controls

Also, if you’ve turned on the ActiveX Filtering option, click turn it off so the plugin can run.

Safari (MacOS)

If the issue is still not solved, try to update the Foscam camera to the latest firmware.
