Make your own Platform Fighter in GameMaker Studio 2!
CSF is a 2D Fighting Game. Up to two players can play at a time in 1 on 1 matches. Players select their character, a stage, and use Normal Attacks, Grabs, Combos, or Special Moves in order to lower your opponent’s HP. When your HP hits 0, you are KOed. Up to three rounds can occur in one fight. The player who wins two rounds wins the battle. As useful as it it, unity's physics engine doesn't work well when you are 'faking' physics like a 2D fighting game. Fighting games tend to have 100% friction, arc jumps, 'floating' moves and much more. We will also be changing from Mecanim to the standard legacy animation component. Even though Mecanim has great features, it doesn't seem to.

However, as indie game development has become more popular and because there is a big market for 2D RPG style games, GameMaker is an engine worth considering for certain developers.
